Yoga workshop at Sandipani Muni School

Vrindavan 2016.05.13 (FFLV): Sandipani Muni School recently organised a five-day long yoga programme for its students. The programme was organised with the help of Patanjali Ayurveda established by Baba Ramdev. The Yoga sessions were conducted after the morning prayers in the school, in which students were taught eight types of Pranayam and Sukshma yoga.

Yoga sessions ran for 40 minutes daily in which Yoga Acharya Raj Kumar Singh taught the benefits of Yoga to the students. He taught the benefit Yoga have to prevent and cure various diseases like asthama, TB, blood pressure problems and diseases related to joints, along with students can use yoga to raise their concentration level.

PRO at Sandipani Muni School, Mr. Partha Sarthi, said that the school has always wanted to nurture its students so that they can become better human beings, and yoga helps in that by keeping the mind calm and focused. He said that the school has taken the motivation from PM Narendra Modi as he himself is a follower of yoga practices. Students from class sixth to class twelfth took part in the yoga classes organised by the school.
